PERSONALLY…
I grew up on a wheat and cattle ranch outside of Winfield, Kansas and attended Kansas State University. I have two grown children, Amy who lives in Florida with her four children and Chris who lives in Reno and also has four children. My pets include two German short-hair pointers; “Mandy” and “KT”, which literally take up all of my free time. My Two cats, “Cletus” and ” Momma Cat” round out my family. Along with spending time with them, my hobbies include woodworking, metal working, hitting the golf course with my buddies and spending time on my ranch in Kansas.

PERSONALLY…
My husband Greg and I moved to the Carson Valley in the spring of 2000 after I graduated veterinary school. We enjoy spending our free time in the mountains with our two young children and our 12 year old yellow Lab, Wyatt. Our other pets include two African Dwarf frogs, “Tiana” and “Buzz Lightyear”.

Personally:
I grew up in Stockton, CA and Tulsa, OK and attended Oklahoma State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Following my graduation from OSU, CVM in 1985, I practiced general small animal medicine and emergency medicine/critical care in Arkansas, Texas, Washington, Georgia, and Iowa. While in Iowa, I returned to graduate school and earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2004, and was the State Public Health Veterinarian in Iowa from 2004 through 2006. My husband Charlie and I married in 1995 and moved to Reno in 2006 and we love “living out west”. I enjoy running, hiking, and swimming, and spending time my husband and our cats, “Daisy”, “Tigger”, and “Piggy”.
